Winstars Universiyy Showcase

SPA Is pleased to announce that our boys team has been invited to participate in the Toronto Winstars Showcas tournament being held this December. This showcase will be attended by over 100 coaches from American and Canadian Universities. SPA is the only team outside the Toronto region invited to participate.

       Nomades University Showcase

Our Showcase boys and girls teams are also proud to be the only Ontario team invited to the Nomads Coaches Showcase tournament in San Diego California to be held in March. This showcase tournament will also be host to elite teams from all over North America. This will give our boys and girls the opportunity to display their talents to over 300 University and College coaches.

SPA is a soccer Academy in the Ottawa area. We provide soccer players with the skills and knowledge to take them to the next level.
SPA's coaching philosophy is centered on a professional non-dictative method of coaching. Players learn, develop and understand the game by using their own creativity.

The SPA focus is, above all, player development. All programs are geared toward this . The SPA's goal is to take serious soccer players to the college and professional levels.

Training Style

The style taught at our academy is one found often in programs of South America and Africa, heavy ball control and skilled passing. We believe that physical fitness can be achieved through playing with the ball and having fun. While important, physical fitness training is only one aspect in the development of soccer player. The most important aspect of the SPA program is training.

                                        Program Duration

The SPA program runs throughout the year.It appeals to the elite player that is looking for a place to develop his / her full potential as a soccer player. The focus is not on winning games but on providing players with the skills and knowledge they need to succed at the next level.

SPA Scout Agencies

SPA's partnership with a certified FIFA agent (required for signing professional contracts) allows us to act in a player management capacity. This linkage permits SPA to act as scout within Canada and sign players to professional contracts.

Players Selection
Players in the SPA program must go through an individual player assessment before a decision can be made regarding player placement. Once placement is made each player will be provided with individual assessments throughout the year.
