University Showcase

                                Girls Showcase

Designed for the serious soccer player. Advanced techniques

  and tactics are introduced through.realistic game situations
  and developed into conditioned full-sided play. The focus
  is each players ability to understand & develop their role within a
  team formation. Tactical decision making and assessment is
incorporated to allow players to improve their knowledge of the
  game. With the increasing level of   play this Academy   program
  offers an insight into the rigor of college soccer. Players are now
  forced to make tactical decisions under pressurized conditions.

Development of team play requires intensive training as the major
focus, incorporating tactical, mental & physical development to take
players  to he pinnacle of their game. Annual U.S. Showcase Trip
  has scholarship players compete against U.S. Teams , League
  games are played against  other Academy teams in Toronto and the
U.S.A.

                           Programs
SPA is a soccer Academy in the Ottawa area. We provide
soccer players with the skills and knowledge to take them
  to the next level. SPA's coaching philosophy is centered
on a professional non-dictative method of coaching. Players
learn, develop and understand the game by using their own
creativity. The SPA focus is, above all, player development.
All programs are geared toward this . The SPA's goal is to
  take serious soccer players to the college and  professional
levels.

                       Training Style

The style taught a our academy is one fvound often in
programs of South America and Africa, heavy ball control
  to the next level. SPA's coaching philosophy is centered
on a professional non-dictativ method of coaching. Players
achieved trough playing with the ball and having fun. while
important physical fitness training is only one spect in the
development of soccer player. The most important aspect of
  the SPA program is  the ball control , technical skills. and
knowledge of the game.

                    Program Duration

The SPA program runs throughout the year. (Sep/Sep ) It appeals
to the elite player that is looking for a place to develop his her
full potential as a soccer player. The focus is not on winning
games but on providing players with the skills and knowledge
  they need to succeed at the next level.

                                             Players Selection

  Players in the SPA Academy and Showcase team must go through
   an individual player assessment before a decision can be made
regarding  player placement. Once placement i s made each player
will be provided with individual assessments throughout the
  year. We are specifically  looking for players for players and overall
   soccer xperience and will also be evaluated using the player profiles
  each player must submit profiles

Winstars Universiyy Showcase

SPA Is pleased to announce that our boys team has been invited to participate in the Toronto Winstars Showcas tournament being held this December. This showcase will be attended by over 100 coaches from American and Canadian Universities. SPA is the only team outside the Toronto region invited to participate.

       Nomades University Showcase

Our Showcase boys and girls teams are also proud to be the only Ontario team invited to the Nomads Coaches Showcase tournament in San Diego California to be held in March. This showcase tournament will also be host to elite teams from all over North America. This will give our boys and girls the opportunity to display their talents to over 300 University and College coaches.

  SPA is please to announce a partnership agreement with a certified FIFA agent. This partnership permits SPA to act as scout in Canada and sign players to professional contracts.
